About Me

tonyMy name is Tony Timmins the author of the Ancestral Wormhole blog. I have been researching my family history since 1997. Having retired early (made redundant) from my management role in the telecoms industry at the end of 2009 meant that I could devote more time to my genealogy research. My home town is Chester in the county of Cheshire, that is England, UK. And I am British!

Wouldn’t it be great if you could find a hole in the universe where you could travel back in time and meet your ancestors. You could ask all those questions you now want answers too!  Ancestral Wormhole will be a blog travelling back in time through my Timmins Family Tree. I will share research, explore genealogy tools and comment on family history news. I hope you will join me on my travels.

I started this blog on 14 February 2011.  Are you considering starting your own blog? Check out the free video’s on YouTube.  Lisa Louise Cooke at Genealogy Gems has posted four excellent video’s. These will get you up and running in no time, not only for genealogy blogs but for any type of blog. Give it a try, get blogging. I did!

A warning – researching your family history and blogging are very addictive.
